EU point projects & more

As an administrative department we support the Kolping Training Centres in the application, implementation, evaluation and accounting of regional and transnational EU projects.

Education and qualification measures are among our regional projects which are supported by the European Social Fund (ESF). The regional ESF projects target at unemployed, youth, migrants and those attempting re-entry into the labour market. Aim of the projects is to enhance the professional development of the participants and to increase their employability.

Transnational projects are executed within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) of the EU. Main focus is on the sub-programmes

• Leonardo da Vinci (vocational education and training),
• Grundtvig (adult education) and
• Comenius (school education).

Transnational projects allow us to set up cooperation with educational institutions in Europe, to get insight in innovative approaches and concepts and to jointly develop new educational opportunities. Furthermore the projects offer our customers and staff the opportunity to gain experiences abroad, e. g. by taking part in vocational training, placements and study trips in European countries.
