The project

In December 2008 the "Leonardo da Vinci – Pilot Project“ H2-Training ended.

With 9 organisations from Austria, United Kingdom, Italy and Spain we worked together in a project partnership under the direction of the ”Fundacion San Valero” in order to make a contribution to the development, implementation and the dissemination of knowledge over renewable energies.

Main activity was the development of a teaching handbook for trainers who teach installation and service of fuel cells. It is used for further training and is aimed at trainers and professionals working in automobile industry wishing to study further in the field of renewable energies.

In the framework of the project we developed the following products:

  • A training curriculum for vocational training
  • A handbook containing teaching material. The handbook consists of 3 entry levels. It is available in German, English, Spanish and Italian.
Example Handbook: Components of a fuel cell Systems
  • n E-learning platform for distance learning. It is available in 4 languages.

During pilot actions, the efficiency of the E-learning platform and the quality of the teaching material were evaluated. The project outcomes were presented in autumn 2008 at the EXPO 2008 in Zaragoza, Spain.
